BD is insane. I see another undefeated season for them.

Love BK ... one of my absolute favorite corps. Put on some of my favorite shows of the last decade. I hope they can make it back to Finals this season and quickly get back to Finals not being a question (which is where they belong). That was a rough performance. I do like the design much better than last year though. Not up there with my favorite BK shows, but it's good.

First time seeing The Cadets this season. I really like the show. Uniforms are a bit ... weird. But I think it's a good vehicle for them and they have a lot of talent. Lots of room to improve.

I’m not a Bloo fan girl, but I find it to be the most exciting show of the season so far. It keeps my attention better than anything else I’ve seen. Love it!

I don’t anything about guard, so I should probably keep my mouth shut. But it seems like Bloo’s is struggling a bit.

So excited to see this Bluecoats show in competition. Watched the premiere last week, and loved it.

I understand what you are saying about Moon River last season and largely agree. It was still my favorite ballad of 2022 though.

Ballad a bit rough, but I love it so much. Will probably end up being at or near the top for me by the end of the season. BD sure knows how to do ballads right.

BD and color?

Anyone have any idea how much they benefited from SCV not marching this season (it pains me to say that)? I suspect they got at least a handful of MMs that would otherwise be at SCV. Not surprised they are this good, given their upward trajectory the last few seasons. But I'm sure the talent/experience level boost didn't hurt.

I suspect Mandarins will take a big step up placement wise this season. Wow! This is amazing (and it isn't even over yet).

Loved it. The lighting was unfortunate during the first half. This is my favorite kind of BC show. Can’t wait to see it many more times.

Same here. Maybe because SCV isn’t competing (who I’m usually rooting for). Just happy to see everyone perform. I say that now, but I’m sure it will be different by the time finals rolls around … lol.

I think this Crown show will grow on me. Love the concept and the music. Had high expectations, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say I was a little underwhelmed. I’m sure it will get better as the season goes along and it will end up being a favorite. No one can match that beautiful brass sound.

SCV does Barber and Bartok … Crown does Bartok and Bjork. Excited to see what this is.

So much work to do, but I’m loving this show so much. Drill is awesome. Music is awesome. IF the can get it clean, I think it’s a contender.

Doesn't change the fact that Crown had the fourth highest score, with three corps receiving a higher score. Crown is literally in fourth place. It doesn't make any sense to say they were third.
