I’m not sure why you think the Colts got hosed. I think they were right where they should have been. Academy has a very clean and very nice visual show. Colts visually a bit messy and the props are just poorly constructed. I’m not surprised Academy is moving up. It’s a very nice show. Sorry, can’t agree with that. Seen them both live and video, and I just can’t see it. Colts have been beating Academy until Denton and the big jump.

I’d like to see them “spice up” Knocking On Heavens Door a bit. It is bringing some heat, but it seems to be missing “something”. The old school in me says hold that chord at the end and obliterate faces instead of ending on the unison note. I may very well change my mind when I see it live!

If they can do some meticulous cleaning and tightening, especially a bit in the high brass and screamers, they could really demolish the “same old colts” trend of thinking! This really is a good show! I would to see them pick up the tempo at the end of the closer and let it all hang out, but that staff has forgotten about more music than I know!😂 I look for them to go 71-72 in Wausau tonight! I’ve got a feeling that this staff has something up their sleeves that their keeping under wraps until around San Antonio! To the brass staff.......KUDOS!!!!!! This show has serious legs to me!!! I would not be surprised if they made a serious jump in the next few shows. I’m seriously hoping they do, because I love to see the old “stay off of my lawn” DCP cronies get their Depends in a bunch!
