  1. Exactly why I only visit DCP every once in a while. Just a bunch of folks that may never have even marched in a top 12 corps giving their opinions when it really doesn't matter. The alums have set the stage in history and the kids out there now are the ones doing the work. Let the members enjoy their summer, the chips fall where they may, and just enjoy the shows. Gee Whiz!
  2. Montreal '81 was 44,000 finals paid attendance
  3. Rumor has it that Phantom's 2016 mello soloists and another 6 PR alums are with B.D. this season. That means 1/10 of their hornline is Regiment alum! Hope they have a gas!
  4. Disappointed that a chunk of hornline leaders left to march BD. In the end, it's their decision though.
  5. He helped design SCV's "Phantom of the Opera" show in 1989.
  6. Kuhn is turning over the battery arranging and overall percussion supervision to Ferguson, whom he had brought to the Regiment in 2015 as the front ensemble arranger and supervisor. Kuhn consulted with the Regiment starting in 2012 and took over in 2014.
  7. Rob Ferguson will step into a new role as Percussion Arranger and Caption Supervisor.
  8. Wes Cartwright joins Phantom Regiment as Artistic Director
  9. That's great to hear! Keep growing and maybe someday we'll get back to the 1981 Montreal record paid attendance of 38K!
  10. Yep! Pulling it out of the back since 1983's drum major, Curtis Matlin, introduced it!
  11. Thanks for the correction! I hadn't looked at the sheets, just commented from the blond hair and stature!
  12. Agreed. More demand for American Ninja, maybe, but not marching and playing at the same time.
