Donny, This show and Orlando are DCA Sanctioned shows. We are flying DCA judges as well as a DCA judging coordinator and chief judge in for both shows and all corps will be judged on official DCA sheets (received them last week) and posted on the official DCA recap sheet! No concoctions for the South! except in our drinks afterwards

Lots of rain to start the show..some pretty severe lightning thrown in... 1 1/2 hour delay But overall, considering the weather the crowd was very receptive and Florida drum corps is alive and well. And the Buffalo Wild Bills party after was well attended by Heat Wave members, staff and management as well as Magic staff and management!! good times :mmm: I won't write a review about ALL the performers as I was a performer with Heat Wave and that should be left to News Staffers or beat writers or anyone not performing! Thanks to Magic for a great night despite the weather.....not their fault B)

Chris is an incredible arranger. Here's your DCI tie-in. Chris marched with the Blue Devils in the early 80's (baritone) and later performed in various Disney ensembles, arranging many of the tunes played by Future Corps. When I played in the Christmas Brass at the Magic Kingdom, we played a couple of his tunes..."Farandole" being by far the best. Chris has also been Heat Wave's arranger since 1995 as well as a marching member and soloist from 1996-1999. Great arranger and performer.
