  1. Could someone email the Siskel and Ebert report on the Crusaders? I only get the left half of the post on all first postings. Thank you. I am curious to his "review" as I assume he has years of experience.
  2. Dude's and Dude-ettes The Heatwave from Orlando, FL are currently accepting new brass players to play and march in the 2003 show. The rehearsal schedule can be found in the Senior section of DCP. I urge you to give this corps a try, I believe you'll like it and the members alot. A hard working bunch of men and women who are committed to improving at every rehearsal.
  3. How's my FAVORITE German corps Skyline (formerly known as Schlossgarde) doing? Say Hi to Manny and all the rest...Ulli, Ulricke. Hey Was ist los?
  4. I agree with Lou, G and CM But....General Butler???? I always liked them in the 70's but....okay, it's your opinion and I respect that. Argonne Rebels were awesome and how 'bout the Commodores? Not the Lionel Richie Band but the Stockton Corps?
  5. Have to say that Donny Allen is my all-time tops. After that.....Ted Key, he really made you start to listen and think. Hearing chords and fixing the intonation immediately. Donny is THE MAN! He'll seem crazy, but he gets what he wants from you. Highly respected not only with our corps but with ALL corps.
  6. Argonne '72 and Madison Scouts '75. Horn line sizes were probably even smaller back then. Sandra Opie had a great brass line in '72 and Scouts were just freaking LOUD!
  7. Wow! I would never change to one specific mouthpiece. Each individual is different in everyway. What is good for you may not be good for me. If there is one thing that angers me is some of these guys deciding on what mouthpiece these kids should play on.....Must be the $$$$$$$$$$. It sure isn't brass smarts.
