I suppose I am a little ADD! ha! I respect both corps greatly. I just prefer the sound of the Blue Devils more.

You and I differ. I feel the same about Crown's show. Crown's show only has two different tunes in it and a bunch of major chords. Devils are playing complex chords and multiple tunes. I would much rather listen to a recording of BDs show than Crown's this year. To each his own, I suppose.

I don't really know why people booed in Atlanta. I thought it was pretty clear that Devils outmarched and outplayed Crown. Both are good show in my opinion, but not great. I think most of it is that people just simply want to see someone else win, regardless of whether it is actually performed better or not.

I like the Blue Devils for what they are. They have a different sound than any other corps on the field. They have an attention to exellence that other groups just do not have. I love that they do not just march around (or roll around on the ground) for a minute and stop and play a big loud major chord with a horn tweak to the press box and then repeat the process several times in several different fashions. Every 'moment" in a Devils show will be different.

Blue Devils Madison Scouts Phantom Regiment Bluecoats Spirit Santa Clara Vanguard Everyone else is enjoyable, but seems too typical and predictable. Though I havent seen some of the shows yet.
