I mentioned this in a similar thread, but if Crown did the 4th movement of David Diamond's Symphony No. 2 (or any of the movements for that matter) and brought back The Promise of Living in one show, it would be glorious: They could also explore more of the Paul Lovatt-Cooper music and use Equilibrium:

Too true. It's just so enthralling. I believe The Woodlands HS of the BOA circuit used it this past season (2012) for their closer, but that is the only instance I know of it being fielded.

I would LOVE to see Crown do some of David Diamond's Symphony no. 2 Movement 4. A piece not as well known as some and there could be some potentially FANTASTIC brass moments taken from It. it would also be cool if Crown/BD/SCV or any of the top corps did something from the Tron: Legacy soundtrack. While most of it is electronic based, there are some insanely gorgeous songs that I think would transfer perfectly to the field for a ballad or "soft" ending.

I had an interesting convo with someone in my theatre last night: If Crown is unable to squeeze out a win on Saturday, could Crown 2013 "replace" Star 1993 as the ultimate DCI snub? Thoughts?

I saw this comment a couple weeks ago, but is it actually "bad" if a corps can't pull off a win even when they go on last?
