it seems that there's a lot of smart people here with regard to technology. Can any of you explain exactly how the livestream process works , whats the process for us illiterates?

Its hopefully called the last straw and they start doing a show called 'There's nothing to get - unplugged' and just march and play and entertain the people buying a ticket.

I don't know why anyone discusses scores. It some guy with mustard on his shirt giving his opinion who is more wrapped up in himself than anything to do with Hus score sheet. Who cares who wins? They get what? A ring and a medal and to say we are number 1. Their parents think they are number 1 anyway...fans have their favorite and probably don't care which leaves history people or obsessive competitive who are like carb counters, cheerleader and beauty queen moms, women with self image issues, and who shot JFK types. The kids on the field do but that's them. Why all of that in the adult world? Only 1 corps will win. Everyone else didn't. I'd love to a corps forfeit and go exhibition for the love if the show. Would love to see BD exhibition at at finals......there you go South....you can have it. We don't have any room left in the building anyway and not into buying another case right now. This whole activity is one big hypocrisy....yeah...its about the show and that one person in the stand who we touched emotionally. Then they look at score sheets like they are planning the Battle of Normandy. I could go on to support my point but my fingers are tired.

its funny in one perspective that they think we're so intelligent have to understand Blue Devils yet on the other hand were so stupid that the show is actually need to be narrated.

Imagine ice dancing being narrarated? How effective would that be for that love story? They should havenarrarated all the love scenes in Titanic? If you have to narrarate then your drill and music and staff and kids aren't doing their job. And no....its not supporting what you are doing its distracting from in it.

Nobody that I could see or hear clapped for BD. It was all.most embarrassing and I felt bad for the kids. It was like the scene in Coming to America's Greatest Love of All when the preacher sang. Oh....but how genius the judges and creative staff. I'm pretty sure the kids would rather being liked and no win than win and be resented. Can't speak for them. I saw everyone and what is what I remember. Allentowns weather is nice, loved the music fest downtown, the fried oreos were great, said hello to Hop, the horn lines look very pegorative term dancing, apparently everything wants to be a circle and some guy loves a girl and BD mics their soloist. Beyond this....oh....I missed SCV because John Candy wouldn't let me in through the south gate. But...I don't like Led Mis anyway...so...down two strikes before the first note. They could a turned me around. Its possible.

I'm glad to see kids getting exercise. That's not what I came to see.

Also anytime I meet someone from any drum corps town I ask if they ever heard if their local drum corps....blue devils, crown, phantom.....9.9 out if ten its a no and the .1 I think they are lying. Drum corps and the activity is for itself and the parents and kids .....which us fine. Just don't ask for money or expect me to check you out anytime in the near future. Total nimumber...and I'm an alumni of a top 6 corps for secmveral years...of shows I've attended since 1986 is 4. Last was Allentown thus year. I won't be back for anything unless i get a buzz something is different. Nor will my guest or the people I tell how much it sucks. I'm not on a mission...I'm Joe public.

Educational point is to entertain your audience. School music programs? There is a great model. 3 judges at assessment and the few parent volunteers scattered in the empty auditorium. Yeah....support music end....right. The same school music programs that cause us to hear the same plea to write our legislators for their job because what they do is so special and relevant. No it isn't. Its relevant to them and that's it....which is why nobody cares. Music people...and I'm one but I own several businesses and joined the other side...and when I say music person I'm looking at my music end degree on the wall in front of me as I type.....music people are dumb....for example.....Boston Pops. They aren't dumb. 500,000 people show up to see their music set to fireworks and CBS televised it for 20 years. Pops. Entertainment. We get it. We relate. And if they are smart...like Hollywood you can make real music pop- ulnar......steak...its what's for dinner. Aaron Copeland.

Also...you can't measure it not affecting ticket sales. 17,000 seats il for this kind of event is not success not to mention the empty seats at the HS events and how many corps do we have now in DCI versus before? Last time I checked we have more sports and more teams in every sport including a WNBA.

Indoors? Really? Its really a joke. Is it anymore obvious how confused this organization is? They mic pits which are the closest thing to the audience...stick the marching band indoors....that's always a great combo to listen to....hornline and drum lines are dancing Matildas and even narration is used to confuse not assist the understanding of some big life lesson about a math equation...a circle...as if I want to sit and learn about something so irrelevant....like trig. I use trig everyday. Or is indoors a testament to you can't hear the horn line anymore? Oh....the weather. Yeah...no drum and bugle corps or audience hasn't been rained on. Its so awful. That awesome .metropolis if Indy is so compelling too. What a great place to visit every year. Like my colon exam. It wouldn't take much for them to just ask the audience on site to text their choice to a phone number and give a fan favorite every show. At least the audience will feel they have a voice that us relevant and valid and maybe corps will start designing for the audience and not the judge.

Yeah... I edited my post and tool advantage of not stating that you can only submit one sentence. Of all that I wrote....drop the dancing horn line. I want to see WGI play brass and percussion. How would that audience respond?
