Bluecoats show is a great show

Although entirely different formations, it really looses definition after the uniform change.

I can't wait to hear and see Bluecoats Monday night. I love their music. Watched DCI West last night. I think Blue Devils, Bluecoats and SCV are going to be my favorite shows

well it is nothing more than background muszak for a bunch of sappy talking. I absolutely hate it when George gets on his preachy soapbox, and this case a REALLY BIG soapbox.

I just listened to last night's webcast again. Would love to know how the show design came about. JT's drill has some shining moments, but it looks like somebody messed with it. The other thing that struck me was how badly written the front ensemble music is. There's no rhyme or reason for the music. Just sounds like a lot of banging around going on. IMHO, this show might could be salvaged with some major rewrites, both musically and visually. Especially the closing, it seems to get lost in itself.

Agree 100%. Never has a drill been better integrated into the music as Rosander!s. His drills are usually very difficult also, which is probably the real real reason hex wasn't asked back. He is one of the great talents of drum corps!!!

Phantom seemed like a whole different corps. Aside from the weak sound, the whole show just did not seem like PR. It's understandable that the theh horn line is very young and will get better, but the whole concept of the show lacked focus, excitement and was plain boring. I didn't think the drill looked like JT's work at all. It appears to me that the Texas bunch has had a major influence on the total picture at PR. Not so sure I like it. On a more specific note, the way the guard is intergrated into the drill design makes for a lot of confusion and visual clutter much of the time, IMO. Sorely miss the days of early 2000s. Oh! and just get rid of the uniform change and come out in all black.

Glad to see Troopers getting better I hated all the top four shows Can't wait to hear BD, SCV. Bluecoats and the Scouts

it does appear the male guard is wearing dance belts. a big difference and they can always take a hint from drag queens and use duck tape lol

they finally figured out how to disguise body parts with the crotch guard. and they won't have to raid every store in town buying up jock straps for the guys. LOL

seemed kind of anticlimatic for an ending. surely it's not the final one. doesn't seem memorable musically. good technique and lots of notes but music selections seem to all run together
