Hear! Hear! I told the members that it only took us to 4 years to build up from a very thinned out corps in '80 to a DCI finalist in '84. Hard work. Commitment to your "family". That's what builds winners. A quote from the "Velvet Knights 1990 clip" on YouTube... "Winning is an attitude, not a number on the judges sheet". Great job VK. Proud of you!

Muzz is not only an exceptional player, but he's also a great person. If you caught the show last year, he was the one doing the eulogy at the beginning of the show.

Dang. I would've loved to see the dance comp.... can't imagine a perfect score. How wonderful! Shout out to Lani too. Great job on flute! Sounds like everyone had such a fun day.... wish I could've been there. Congrats to all!

Whatever she does... don't let her quit early. I listened to my boyfriend (he aged out in VK... marched with SCV too). He said "Don't march anymore" and I did'nt. Missed being with VK when they made finals for the first time.
