  1. I guess sub-consciously I was thinking of it lol I was just coming up with a generic scenario
  2. Not everyone is fortunate enough to own the legacy collection and most finals dvds..I don't think it is nonsense for me to question the price of a 12 minute video..but whatever.
  3. They would make more money selling more quantities of a lower priced video than selling a few for 15 dollars. But whatever, I honestly can't believe you guys are defending one video costing 15 dollars. We used to pay 30 dollars to view an entire archive of videos for an entire year. But I guess I'm the crazy one lol
  4. My favorite moment in the shows so far this year is Carolina Crown's first big brass hit in the opener after ecstasy of gold. It's so beautiful and loud. Another great moment is Bluecoats ballad.
  5. Well, I can guarantee you they would sell a hell of a lot more videos if they were at a lower price.
  6. You are paying 15 dollars for a 10-12 minute drum corps show, they should at least give you some sort of discount for buying multiple videos...to be honest DCI is very overpriced. I mean 99 dollars for a finals dvd....30 dollars for a live stream event, in which you have to have really good internet to even watch. They make enough money to not make people pay 15 dollars for one drum corps show, sorry if I see that as a problem.
  7. I would love if they added the demon laugh, that would be awesome lol It's all really just a matter of opinion. Some people like it, some don't. I just think they could improve their general effect if they added a different ending.
  8. I don't think he meant it as a bad thing. I think he meant he hopes that there isn't a huge gap between the top 7 corps and the remaining finalist. The top 7 corps are the best of the best no doubt about it, I don't think he was discrediting that in any way. If anything, I think he was telling the lower corps to pick up the slack lol at least that's what I got from it.
  9. Totally agree with the majority of this paragraph, but I'm not counting out The Cadets just yet...they are planning on peaking in August. My top 4 is definitely BD, Crown, Bluecoats, and Cadets. I just don't know what order.
  10. Yeah Crossmen is a good one. Totally agree about Madison and Blue Stars. It's hard to imagine anyone else in the top 5 right now except for Cavies and Phantom IMO
  11. I kind of hope it's the last 20 seconds of their show, that was the only part of the show I wasn't a huge fan of..I would like there to be a big hit and the corps spread out across the field to end the show, while the color guard runs up the field holding the signs as the final hit sounds or something. That way everyone still see's all the signs bunched up like a protest without having to have the entire corps pushed together, they would get more points for a really nice drill set.
  12. I really love the ending to the show, I love the opening, I just love the entire show! That brass gives me chills. Drumline sounds a lot better. This is honestly becoming my favorite show this season. (Don't tell the Cavies) lol that crowd in muncie was epic btw
  13. I really liked the Blue Knights show last year, I think they finished 6th in finals. That would be fun to see them become a championship caliber program
  14. Obviously The Cavaliers and Phantom Regiment are two corps that could easily be back in contention in a year or so, If I was feeling really risky Madison Scouts or Blue Stars could surprise people if they keep trending up, but it is hard to envision Blue Devils, Crown, Bloo, SCV and Cadets not being the top 5. It's been that way for a few years. I just think it's interesting that when you look back in time, certain corps used to be so good and corps that no one really knew have become the stars. The only two consistent corps over the last decade have been Blue Devils and Cadets.
  15. There was a time when the troopers were in the top 3, a time when Crown was no body, a time when the Cavies dominated, Phantom rocked faces off, My question is "Who do you think is the next world class corps that no body is talking about now, that we could possibly be talking about as a title contender in 3 to 5 years?"
  16. For some people it is fun to watch. I prefer the scores to actually mean something. The judges should judge every show like it's the most important show in the world, not fiddle around and drop a corps 8 whole points, the members work way too hard to be let down like that.
  17. I sense a little salt, might need to check your sodium levels ;)
  18. You have a triple double machine in Russell Westbrook, the best overall point guard in the league. Just a notch above Steph Curry IMO
