The more I listen to this brass line, after hearing them in Everett only days before has me astonished at the increased quality in such a short time. There is no doubt this is THE most talented line that Boston had ever had. Ever. Coupled with the staff and the writing (what a fantastic combination) this bodes to be a top brass line by Indy. Beyond the brass staff, The entire staff is bringing out the best of these kids in all areas. It is killing me that I don't see them live until Lawrence. On the other hand I can't wait to see and hear them at that point and see how much better they will be. Good lord this is exciting. I can say that right?...with all the priestS and witches all over the place this year, you can't be too careful! LOL

How did you come away with that from the question asked?

Absolutely agree. You have to get the show to where you are straight up performing; not worrying if you are getting all the changes right. In speaking with BAC's staff, that is a huge focus (and major difference than past years) in getting the emotional connection first then everything else happens more easily, more organically. That being said, "easy" is relative. It still requires lots of hard work. Lots.

I hear you and understand that frustration completely. After seeing Boston use up so much time in recent seasons fixing rather than stopping and cleaning, I get what you say. Makes you want to pull your hair out. I wish you well and not being snarky, have faith.

Yes Spirit was a typo. Yes I think Boston might improve as noted, and the same with every other GUESS I made. No I didn't mean to leave out Spirit but I meant their score would stay put. Yes I think Surf may improve to be just under 60. Still not gaining much though but there can be big gains with some cleaning. Did I mention my guesses were just guesses?

Clearly you have no clue about Salem then. I've lived in the area, been there a number of times and have read quite a bit about it. It was about a lot of things, not only what you think it might be, religion. It had as much to do about religion, an easy card to play and anything. But more than anything else it was about fear mongering and ignorance. It was about girls covering their butts for things they were doing they should not have and blaming other innocent people. It was about land ownership and women inheriting lands men didn't believe a woman should own. They found a way to rid themselves of the women in a horrible way, making up stories that were completely untrue, and absurdly convoluted to fit their selfish desires. It created an environment of fear where anyone could accuse another with no proof of anything and to prove innocence you might die. It had a lot to do with women's right as well. So read some more about it and put some thought into it. You also should review Boston's program outline as well to get a better understanding of the show. And if you want to be offended by sexuality go talk to Bluecoats then. And to compare it in any way to the OKC bombing is simply a dumb comment.

Hoping for BAC continuing to rise and close the gap. Here is my guess before BAC has a few days to work on the program with more layering/adds/mods.: Cavaliers - 80.45 Cadets - 79.25 Boston - 78.30 Colts - 68.55 Spirit - 53.35 Jersey - 59.2 My disclaimer is that it is possible the scores from the other night were maybe 1.0 higher than they should have been. Good luck to all. This is a great year so far with a few surprises as well.

Also part of the Salem witch issue, per se', was the fact that some of the women were in the area were becoming powerful (property owners) and the local men, the elders, didn't like that happening and enabled accusations of witchcraft to be made and held up in their courts. If I am understanding what you are insinuating, that Boston is favoring the storytelling by romancing the issue and sexing it up (really?), then you are not understanding the presentation and the portrayal of "mass hysteria". And spectacular stage violence? hello Sparticus and a number of examples mentioned previously. If the story YOU wish were being told, is not to your satisfaction, then that's kind of too bad because this is a creative show being performed extremely well and at the very least is proving to the DC world the Boston is in it for the competitive long haul and is moving forward. Maybe I have misunderstood your post and if so I apologize, but the Salem witch trials were about a lot more issues than a small group of girls who accused people they didn't like of witchcraft, just so they wouldn't get in trouble themselves. Nor was it all about blood lust or religious fervor.
