  1. Yup, brass judge tonight (full recap available if you click download recap at the bottom) Nice Mix of 2,3,4s across the sheets for Boston, Spirit and Bones
  2. No perc judge tonight? What gets doubled if that's the case- music ensemble? That could account for a bit of the gap tonight as the percussion section has been the highest scoring for Bones so far and the music ensemble gap was fairly wide between them and spirit.
  3. Saw the show live the other day for the first time and I must say you did a great job of arranging to pay homage to Crossmen corps of past while still adding a little "Guidry" to it. Thank you and nice job. Best of luck to the corps this year!
  4. guard was given an 11.1 (equivalent of around a 55) which explains the drop. GE is still strong, especially in the REP subcaption which is a good sign.
  5. How about this one in early/mid July? This show should give a pretty good indication of who is where. sland Music Showdown July 12, 2007 Hilton Head Island, SC Performing corps Blue Stars (14 last year) Colts (13 last year) Crossmen (15 last year) Madison Scouts (9th last year) Pioneer Spirit from JSU (12 last year) Teal Sound
  6. Here's mine: 1989 Santa Clara Vanguard 1991 Star of Indiana 1995 Madison Scouts 2000 The Cadets 2003 Blue Devils 2005 Carolina Crown 2006 The Cavaliers 2006 Phantom Regiment
  7. We haven't before this year. This may a new thing and really, I'm not against it at all. I think it can take away some distraction. On the other hand, it is nice at camps to just sit around for a couple of hours after lights out and catch up with everyone.
  8. 1. Cadets 2. Cavies 3. Blue Devils 4. Bluecoats 5. Madison 6. Phantom 7. Crown 8. Crossmen 9. SCV 10. Boston 11. Blue Knights 12. Glassmen
  9. I, too, had to decide between these two corps. When it came down to it, location and friends helped make my decision. I ended up going with the Crossmen. I know both corps are excellent when it comes to education. The people at both corps are great as well. However, I can say the Crossmen has been a wonderful place for myself the last few years, and with some of the changes taking place in the offseason, I'm looking forward to this year more than any other in the past. Good luck on your decision! As long as you march somewhere, that's what matters most.
  10. I completely agree. I think the thing that sent the championship the way of SCV was something that one can't really put a finger on. There was something special from the heart of the corps that night that sent it over the top. I still get chills when I watch that show in its entirety. SCV just connected as a unit that night and had something special in the air. I agree it could have gone either way coming into that night, but I believe that's what pushed them over the edge.
