After a busy day for me, It was a great time. Good to see some old friends and family there. I laughed so hard I was crying about the old stories we talked about. This will become an annual event for me now. It was also great talking to the current corps members that wanted to hear those stories. Lets not also forget the rerturn that evening of the RED CUPS.

I felt bad I was unable to go to the service due to early morning family commitments. for the short time I knew Gabe and having musical discussions with him he taught me a lot and also a great person. rest in peace my friend.

Well you can say not just Drum Corps memories but also NFL memories. If you watch any highlights from the NFL films of Lawrence Taylor picking off Joe montana in the payoffs of the 1985-1986 season you will see the Caballeros behind the ginats bench waiting for Halftime. I will never forget that game because when LT picked off that pass I ran down the field against the big blue wall.

Good luck with your program. When you up an running I may stop in to see the corps next year. I remember teaching Phoenix and competing in DCI against Thunder.
