  1. Ones I listen to pretty regularly: 07, 06, 04, 00. Since I don't usually watch vids, I guess that's my list. I'm anxious to see what they've done with 09 since I last saw it.
  2. Sweet! I'm hoping VK finishes strong! I'm looking forward to seeing them in Indy!
  3. That's no lie. They are an incredible line.
  4. I find that to be true of many of the "better" products on the field. Opinions are great. Mine frequently conflict with the judges, but most of the time, I'm good and don't care, because I don't follow the activity for scores or rankings. It's nice for the corps you like to be appreciated, but if I like a show and performance, then who cares what a bunch of judges think, ultimately? Doesn't lessen my enjoyment one bit. Doesn't add to it when they agree and the show/corps "wins." No matter what corps we are talking about (and I like plenty of corps...they're all special and important to the activity...we're lucky to have such a range of things to choose from, really). I liked watching Regiment win last year, but it's not my favorite show ever by the corps. It's great, but I have my favorites...some didn't do nearly as well, placement-wise. But as far as Regiment goes...nice changes, but dirt aplenty. It's been a difficult year visually and in terms of the color guard. I'm hoping that they can square some of that away before finals. What's the point of this thread again? Whether I'd be OK with them winning? What if it's not important to you, given the context of the corps, the changes, and the challenges of the summer? It's kind of a non-issue for me at this point.
  5. If the spirit moves you, cheer, I always say. I don't know what the big deal is either. So someone yells "Holy Name!" Good for them. It's no more staged than the initial "I am Spartacus" (which was requested by the corps, on the website...you can go and check). if it becomes spontaneous after staff planted the idea, how is that bad?
  6. It's some kinda conspiracy, I tells ya!
  7. Oh wow. And the donuts comment. Crackin' me up.
  8. I liked Bluecoats a lot more tonight than the webcast from San Antonio. I like not being told what to think. chaos001 +1
  9. I think it has something to do with being able to tell what it is from the stands. I think BAC's apple is too big, as well. FWIW. Heh.
  10. Isn't the flap supposed to be evocative of the rocky mountains? i think i heard that someplace. I like this show. It's got some really neat moments. Pretty darn dirty tonight though.
  11. PS: Please work hard and clean your show....don't let anything stand in your way. Kick the door down.
  12. They've got some issues, and they need to clean them up. Nevertheless, I'm really liking this show. TROOOOOOP!
  13. Nice work, Mandarins. Hadn't seen their show this year.
  14. meh...looks like they fixed it. for now. lol.
  15. Jersery Surf, presenting their program, Cloverfield...
  16. How many people who have DCI rings actually wear them around in their daily lives? I'd guess very few overall...but I could be wrong? Actually, jackets, too...you see them around drum corps events, but not much else...
