What do they have for props this year? I remember they had that cool big silver ball last year. When I was at Cranston and saw the Spartans for the first time this year I was thinking, " They recycled RCR's big silver ball and painted a globe on it"

So, I believe it looks like no OC shows today but two tomorrow. I was wondering if we can just make 1 thread for both shows? Unless there is a person actually at both shows.

If all these scores hold, the top 12 are pretty much a lock with Raiders almost 5 pts. above Shadow. I wonder what the weekend will hold for any changes.

Spartans very close to MC. Congrats to Guardians on 3rd place. 7th dropped a point - bummer. Scores seem low compared to Waukesha. On another note, I see The Company got scored over in clifton - 65.45.

Wow! Waukesha OC scores are though the roof! VC at 78. La Stars and Gold broke 70.

BTW if 7th regiment gets 5777 "likes" on their official public Facebook page, the Corps gets Dino Chicken Nuggets. They were at 5400 or so.

Same here, and I'll be at both prelims and finals. Of course!

Between Cold Cadets, Impulse, Shadow, and Raiders...I'm sure at least one of them will be in finals next Tuesday. But who knows which one? We may have an inkling after tonight...or maybe it's going to a surprise on Monday. Raiders are at the other OC show tonight, and their last two scores were +10 and then a -2, so where will they end up ultimately? Southwind has not had score since the 29th, I wonder how the practice has been going for them? Guardians are surging and doing really well, hopefully adrenaline will keep them going through tonight so they perform well. The 7th Regiment has had two days of recuperating and hard practice after a grueling weekend, I expect them to be at the top of their game. I'm (of course) hoping they will score higher than Guardians and Southwind. Music City hasn't had a show since the 28th. They may have been underscored at that one. I suspect them to be favored to win 1st tonight, based on how they did with Legends. I assume they will do their best because I'm sure Spartans will be stiff competition. I'm hoping that scores are really close together come next Monday so there will be more excitement. I think they all perform the very best when there is some pressure and scores are tight.

Big scores are nice and all... but as a 7th Regiment parent, what I would really like to see is 7th sandwiched between Guardians, and either Music City or Louisiana Stars at the Championship Retreat next Tuesday night. Because the Blue 7th, Green Guardian, and Red MC and LS uniforms would look really nice in a picture under the lights when they're lined up like that.

Are they scored the same way? Same judges, same captions, compared across the board with the junior corps?

I'm so pumped for tonight and I'm not even there lol! So much Open Class going on in J-burg, PA and over in O...a, Indiana. It's been a week since 7th Regiment and Spartans did a show, are they going to come out scoring i‎n a big way? How is the east vs west matchup between Impulse and Raiders going to go? How are the scores going to compare to The Music City, Guardians, etc... in Oskaloosa, which will still leave me with a big question mark after tonight, since there isn't any head to head...is it really comparable? Is there a full panel of judges at Johnsonburg? I'm excited to find out anything. Is anybody at the show going to give commentary? Am I talking to myself lol? Go 7R!

It was when I saw the Sky Ryders in my hometown in PA in (1981 or thereabouts?).

I'll be cheering for them and your kid at Michigan City. I loved the Guardians last year, I can't wait to see them again. Hope they do well...as long as they don't outscore 7th Regiment...that's my home team lol. Good luck to them regardless.

How do they determine if they make finals or not? 13th place or higher at prelims?

What does that mean, why would they increase the number?
