The DCI website gives me a migraine and we almost missed getting tickets for the Midwestern regional because the schedule on there is like a Chinese fire drill.

You’re right. Fire is far more relevant to this year’s theme. I remember how happy Tom Hanks was dancing around his first fire.

Since I’m probably older than 90% of you, Let me just say that I was really diggin’ the beatnik vibe from Bloo. Bloopit was killing me with the black turtlenecks, berets, and shades. Beboppin it.

I totally agree with you about Cavaliers. That first half is gangbusters. Second half, less gangbusters.

I’m sure this won’t go over well but I don’t know how PR beat Blue Stars. I thought PR was a mess. Prop movement and set up was really bad. The guard costumes blended into the field. I guess I just don’t know #### about this stuff anymore.

I am very VERY much looking forward to seeing The Cadets Saturday night.

Theater was practically empty. Drum corps interest is not thriving in my area of the world.
