vocals in a DCI show for me is like a slow drill-bit through the forehead...

Show choir... DCI; Speech Club and DCI; Spandex, Show Choir, Speech Club, Robinhood and Men in Tights... ... I am feeling olskool... pass the geritol and 5 five hours of non-amplified, wool uniforms, rip-your-face-off-power-brass in the great outdoors, and I'll be fine...

If not for their having made those adjustments in the new BD dominated synth world of DCI... SCV would be limping in behind 4th or even 5th at this point of the season... not saying I'm thrilled with the new, but you either adjust to the times, or get used to the idea of closing up shop.

The only vocals I want to hear at a drum corps show are cheering audience members...

HOLY SCHNIKIES SCOOBY DOO!!! The new closing is rediculous, outlandish, and FANTASTIC!!!!!!

Hoping the new SCV ending is posted out there somewhere soon... the anticipation is going to give us an aneurysm.

Ridiculous... if scores are this tight, the corps' placements should be shifting randomly... not uniformly...

Not thrilled with all the different corps over-use of monster-synth... yet am thrilled with the variety of ideas and styles in the top eight or so scoring corps. SCV had me from the opening hit, to the gorgeous ballad, through to the new heart pounding closer...

I'm starting to wonder if the dci gods have baked the finals winner earlier than years past here in 2017

This show in its conception, implementation, and execution, lays out a decisive argument for Gold.

Am excited for the shows this weekend... am pumped about Vanguard's chances in Indy as well!!! Loving the adjustments; the show is looking cleaner... am hoping the new ending will finish this beautiful work of art just right. (open ended suggestion: Aussie toppers at finals retreat).

Having been born and raised in northeast Indiana, the clarification is spot-on.

It's so rare for regular folks of "flyover country" to see/hear anything remotely associated with their lives or experience... I can understand why any glimpse of their reality would be cause for celebrating.

...baffled by the recent results... if the scores really are this tight, how is it the placements remain the same??? Anyway... Amazing show ... scoring is very curious... but all the same, a fantastic show to be sure Vanguard.

...any more clues or hints from anyone at SCV's most recent rehearsal about their new ending???

Been an SCV, CAVIES, SCOUTS, CROWN, CADETS, and BLUE KNIGHTS fan for years... didn't get to see SCV before they left sunny southern California for competition out east... however, I've been watching online, and listening to the show on my drive to work... and I gotta say I LOVE THIS SHOW!
