I heard somewhere that there was a rule proposal in 2008 in that the corps that won the most captions on finals night would be crowned the champion. apparently gibbs said no, phantom's director said yes? not sure if this is true or not.... just like how bob barker died.....

Maybe there should be a finals NIGHT champion and a finals WEEK champion. It'd just be like that Div. II, Div. III, and Div. II/III championship debacle that happened between ECJ and Spartans a couple years ago
