I just realized Blue Stars' entire 1st movement stays at a 5 or 6 musically... There is no big hit. I feel like this might be the only show lacking that, which seems strange to me.

Remember last year was the first time 10 corps broke 90 in Finals when Mandarins squeaked out a 90.0125. I wonder if we get 11 corps in the 90s this year.

You might not be seeking attention, but to think current members won't see this thread is naive. You understand this organization's current state way more than I do, but as a fan of the Scouts from the 80s and 90s, I've been disappointed with their direction as well. But I would never publicly use words like "pathetic" when describing a corps that I'm sure many of their current members and staff, if not all, still feel privileged to be a part of and are still giving their all this season. Posts like yours would make them feel like garbage. Not sure when you marched but no way your corps was ever exposed to what these kids are nowadays with social media and forums like DCP. I am not saying how you feel is wrong, but I'm asking you to turn it down a notch out of respect for the current members and staff who are still giving it their all this season.

People seem to forget back in the 80s and 90s, we performed shows in the rain all the time, as long as it wasn't pouring or no lightning in the area. It's only now, in the World of beaucoup electronics, that shows now delayed or cancelled when there is even a sprinkle. Times have changed... But this show will still never move from Allentown.

Stadium food is so boring. The Mandarins show in Sacramento had 7 food trucks! I had chicken tenders and fries at Stanford, and then Hawaiian BBQ in Sacramento! Guess which one was better? 😁 All drum corps shows need to get on board with that!
