  1. I hope they've fixed the track listing mix-up between the Mandarins and Cascades. Went to listen to the Mandarins and I wasn't expecting airplane music.
  2. Concerning the football field issue. What about Japanese drum corps? Don't they use some sort of grid raither than a football field? I believe that grid is specific to Japanese drum corps alone and not other sports, etc.
  3. Regional division I seems to get the shaft too. Look at quarterfinals 2004. Esperanza and PC (both regional) go on before the national anthem and the time listed on the ticket.
  4. I enjoyed it. I'm going to see what my non-corps friends have to say about it. You might want to clarify, but it seems the potential fans only reacted to The Cadets and their mics. There defintely were vocals coming from BD. Yowza's, yes.
  5. I'm surprised Dynasty didn't put out a big ad. We only saw their name.
  6. I can't find the video either but I found a similarly related article. http://www.dci.org/news/news.cfm?news_id=a...06-50664aa9cfda
  7. The one I have is rather similar to the BD rings in that link. Jostens is pretty flexible when it comes to design.
  8. Mine was made by Jostens. At least that's what the case tells me.
  9. I'm looking at it in a different light. It's alright not to be rude. :)
  10. BD goes down 0.1 from their last show after having three full days of rehearsal? I don't get it. <**>
  11. Does the start time of quarters allow me to see 22 or 24 corps?
  12. Being a "Trooper fan" you will of course question that. Just from the shows I've seen, Esperanza should be going up, not down. It's been over a week since their last show. I'll just throw that up to a possible bad show. Anyways, it's good to see The Cadets are up there! I cna't wait to see their show in Indy.
  13. And other corps from that year played just as good of a show, if not better. Just how some think it ISN'T overrated, others think it is. There is no wrong answer or opinion.
  14. I believe Cavies do march on Xeno trumpets. Mmm good...
  15. Generally those silver polishing cloths are abrassive. As said, it leaves those nasty swirls.
  16. Blue Magic is non-abrassive. I've tried both and I prefer Blue Magic. Both are good polishes though.
  17. Since there were those horrible rain delays I believe Cavies and Blue Devils played after midnight somewhere near 12:30 am.
  18. Does anyone know who the 2003 BD soloist was?
  19. We had a nice tritone in part one of our closer. Normal warm-up we'd do all sorts of chords including space chords. We'd usually warm-up with Bb on field tuning but on finals we did it with Shotgun. Very cool... love dissonant stuff.
