Okay yeah, what an asinine comment. How about we celebrate the fact that drum corps is alive and well? How about that, despite setbacks, PC is developing its identity further? But no, you choose to be part of what destroys this activity. There are shows I don’t like. There are unis, music, and themes that would’ve been comical when I marched. But do I go into threads and say, “####, they’re not doing well this year?”. No, because I want to give back to the activity that served me well and help evolve it through positive change. Thankfully, your comments will mean nothing to a performer working hard while you waste away and point out flaws instead of uplifting. Get a life.

I don’t disagree with that at all. As a relative of the member I’m well-aware of the struggles they’ve been having. I’m just getting annoying by seeing “Old Man Corpse” in multiple threads with nothing positive to say. My MM has been really struggling with the online discourse surrounding PC this year despite urging from me as well as corps staff to ignore it and focus on the show. But unfortunately with social media it’s very hard to do so today.

Do you ever bring anything positive to the table? From your posting history it seems like you never do.

Yeah, that was me. Couple holes due to COVID, 1-2 for injury. Hornline is nearly full without holes. Guard is where the most actual membership holes are. Filling Guard talent seems to be struggling across the activity.

Quite a lot of big assumptions from a video two weeks into Spring Training, with many COVID and school related holes and a clearly unfinished show. Remember that PC doesn’t do a national tour until a week or so after others, I’m sure the extra rehearsal time will catch them up fast.

Don’t know where $8 a gallon in Cali is coming from. LA it’s around $6.60 with diesel hovering around $6.65
