While not against their chief competitors, this is definitely showing the cleaning has paid off. My Bloo always tells me that staff is consistently telling them that this show can win; you just have to buy in 💯 . Nevertheless, gonna hold this day in my memory that Bloo is on top….The race to Indy has begun. HERE. WE. GO.

Sooooooo, I think what draws people to their feet is still the traditional “company front, horns up” moments that Bloo just does not really do too much of. I thought last night crowd reaction was good (I was on Flo so take that for what it’s worth). Bump is as close to a Keytar moment that they have in 2023, and let’s face it - the polyrhythms STILL have people wondering if something is wrong 🙂. I feel like Bloo cares more about their art and putting on the field than “horns to the box” mode. I dunno…people who get it, get it?d

bloo guard achievement scores are SICK

to go from standstill to performance in 24 hours is remarkable. Tough group, and I like where they are right now. Sounds like 15 seconds cost them .4 points. Btw, that was first full run of show since MONDAY. Wow.

Was not upset about who came out on too as much as how it was presented.

Would like to have seen Bloo in 2020. 2019 was the most fun I had as an impartial fan (daughter was a Valkyrie that year). 2019 was EPIC!

I started thinking about “slotting” and “predictable outcomes”, and it brought me back to 2019, Bluecoats v. Blue Devils. My daughter was in Crossmen Color Guard that year (“Valkyrie” - love that show!), so I was watching her most of the time, but I was totally engrossed in the back and forth, especially starting in San Antonio…they never got more than .25 point for each other all the way to Indy. The race is something we will probably never see again, and it had me on the edge of my seat every night the scores were read. The most exciting race that I could remember, and no…..I am still not over the Finals announcement of “Blue……………….” Just ugh.

Can’t wait to find out 🙂

I am a DCI Dad here, too…mine is an ageout Bloo Guard. Indy is “Indyscribable”...can’t imagine what it must feel like looking up at that wall of people and performing for them. Congratulations to your boy and you-you “get it.”
