hi - you folks are funny. Missing Drum Corps. It has been and will always be about the monies. Lets us take a look back in 1975, One salary paid the way for the family. So when the "kids" wanted to learn Drum Corps There was a parent to take them. I remember St Joes as well as St Iggies as parent participation declined so did membership. DCA as well as DCI at this time were to narrow minded to see this picture and promote our activity to the public. In todays world go and ask 10 people that you do not know if they ever heard of Drum Corps and see what you would find. I would bet out of 100 people you would be grateful to find 1. There are other reasons for the decline of our activity. However I will still be the first to say do "Drum Corps" My 2 cents --BigLou
