And it wasn't just the music - it was the innovation, the risk, the demand, the emotion. It was their demand for respect for doing something no other corps would dare take a chance doing (becuz no other corps could've done it better).
And as much as I know a lot of you aren't going to like to hear this, Star 93 started the trend of really kool brass/percussion visuals. Sure, other corps have waved a horn up and down during drum solo, but Star did so much more with equipment, arms, legs, postures, poses, drill formations, and so on. Why people couldn't appreciate the ARTISTRY of that show I will never understand.
