  6. Cadets - 1993, In the Spring When Kings Go Off to War with a close second to 2000 Blue Devils - 1986, Channel One Suite, amazing jazz, perfection Bluecoats - 2014, some good shows in the late 80s, early 90s, but TILT was just cool around Phantom Regiment - 1993, one of my favorite shows ever Cavaliers - 1991, Cavalier Anthems, loved the music, drill Carolina Crown - 2010, Rach Star, just a fun show that had the crowd go crazy SCV - while most people will probably pick another year, 1987 is probably my most favorite show ever, I remember seeing this show a week before finals and thinking it was locked up for them and the shock when I found out they got second.
  7. this is a 3 horse race for sure with one week to go - who will win.....#### I wish I was going to finals
  8. no problem! I'm a web developer so I tend to notice those things...LOL it's happening in Firefox (Mac) but works okay in Safari and Chrome on my Mac. it giving a URL of http://www.frontensemble.com/Corps/Detail/%5CCorps/Detail/9 --- that '%5C' is the problem --- not sure if that is on my end or if it is a server setting on your end - just something that might help track it down.... LOVING the site!
  9. just a quick note, every time I click on a corps from the left column, I get an error - looks like an extra character is getting added into the URL which causes a 404 Love the site!
  10. 1985, Normal, Illinois - watched through the gate (off on the side) and could see everything for about the last 3 corps. 1986 went back and did the entire show from indisde the stadium and was hooked. Luckily, Illinois State University broadcast all the shows on their local TV station and I was able to tape them. I bet they are still around somewhere at my parents house.
  11. 1985 - Normal, Illinois - don't remember anyone else but Phantom Regiment and Symphony Fantasique - we watched from outside the stadium since my parents made me go to church that night - they let me skip the next year and 1986 was my first full show. I think from that point on I went to about 10-15 shows a year all around the midwest and then to the DCI Championships every year until 1996. The best part was I remember watching that entire first show on TV that Illinois State University broadcast - they showed it repeatedly all summer long - I think I wore out the VCR tape watching it so much.
  12. Cavies 1987 currently playing - come join us http://turntable.fm/drum_corps_friends
  13. thanks for putting this up - I just added in a couple of my favorite shows - SCV '91 and Star '90
  14. and if you're on Spotify: 'The Cavalier Melody': they have a ton of Marine D&B corps and some others but no other DCI corps that I can find at the moment
  15. my son was impressed by that nice loooooooong loud chord from the Troopers!
  16. so far, my sons favorite corps are Crossmen and Academy - he's at his first ever DCI show
