some people potato...some po-ta-to...you get what i'm saying here...to me it's one of the same...i happen to be owner of arguably the largest dci champion rings given to a corps...i loved my show that year...to me...i want the cake, the icing, everything...i want the ring and the fame...good thing about it i experienced for a long time...i'm sure others will disagree and that's fine...we're all band nerds at the end of the day....let's go blue

the blue devils win and make possibly a quite profound statement having both corps win the championship this year....the A corps and the B corps....like us or love us..we're kind of a big deal...people know us....we gone get 'em....#13...let's keep pushing!!!!!

again...in my opinion..and i know it's just that...an opinion...the blue devils could care less about how many threads are written about them...the blue devils will continue to win in every way possible...people have tried boxing them in so many categories...they find a way to grow as a corps in every way....honestly...i don't care if you don't like the blue devils or not....they will keep winning...chicks will still dig them...and we still will do it in a cooler way than anyone else...my apologies for the last few statements...the inner blue devils slips out every once and a while...i hope everyone is having a nice day

Let's see...you can take your national championships from VFW and keep them...they're great to have and I'm sure people appreciate it...I'm going by the DCI record books my friend...and if you fool yourself into thinking anything otherwise...that's your business...but to the average joe fan of DCI....Yankees and Blue Devils are in the same book...not even an comparison....cute stats though...they don't impress me at all and i'm sure to they average joe again...i'm sure they're appreciative but the Devs are in a class of their own....get to double digit DCI World Championships and then we'll have this discussion again :)...again cute stats though i'm sure somebody out there appreciates them

i haven't been on this in a while but had to laugh when someone referred to as the Cavaliers as the new New York Yankees....i'm not sure if you know anything about sports or baseball (which i know is a sport) and all do respect to the Cavaliers but the Devs are in another league as far sustaining excellence...i'll give the Cavies this they are the Boston Red Sox if anything...but the legendary New York Yankees only one team holds at that's the Blue Devils...i am not getting off soap box and returning to my cave...i hope everyone is having a great day :)

wow...i haven't posted on this thing in a while and remember why now...quite frankly you can coulda shoulda woulda talk yourselves to death for all i care...you don't have to agree with the results because it is what it is...Blue Devils won....you can complain or state your opinion all you want...but guess what...the rings are being ordered as we speak...get over it... congrats to all for a great year

hahaha..you my friend are a comedian and probably a woodwind player as well lol...so how was it technically ok but the high notes were all over the place? ...conflicting in my opinion (my humble opinion) :)...also i didn't know he needed a metronome to play the star spangled banner...i could tell that he was getting off from the ensemble...only problem is...there was no ensemble...it was a solo effort...and in closing...you show your ignorance because you do not know him or who asked him to play that arrangement of it...he is beyond humble about the trumpet and the way approaches music...he doesn't have to show off...people like al chez email him about how great he sounds...sorry one last thing...jessie played the same version at the carolina crown home show and they went nuts...one more thing...also played it at the world series...w/ that same laser tone and ornamenting the 'bejeezus' out of it.....im glad to see the majority enjoyed it and hope they continue to enjoy it...and from the amount of pm's i have received just since i posted it...you my good sir are def. in the minority...which is fine...lets go blue!!! sorry if that made anyone mad :)
