  14. Thanks for the positive comments. Come visit us in Murfreesboro. We'll be all around the place with our burugndy t-shirts and black ball caps.
  15. Great review! Excellent narrative skills. Feels like I was actually there except I didn't get drenched by the rain.
  16. We are mostly doing standstill exhibitions this summer but will be marching more for our mini-corps competition at DCA in Scranton, Pa. We will be adding a color guard next season and intend to have a larger hornline and drumline but we can't get any bigger or better without you. We will get a much earlier start on music AND marching next year so we will be better prepared for the summer. If you're age 18 and up (no age-out limit) and live in Tennessee, Kentucky or surrounding states please check out our website for more info.
  17. And by the way, our Soprano line consists of Scott Rhodes, Brenda Kurtz, Regi Jones, Laurie Mills, Ed Mason and one absentee tonight, Jeff Loper. Scott marched with Phantom, Regi with Scouts and Brenda with Crossmen and Florida Wave. The three mellos are Patrick Laxson (Dutch Boy), Brian Cowell (Southwind) and yours truly (Star of Indiana).
  18. Thank you for the positive feedback! I know a lot of people in the stands tonight didn't have a clue about who we were and where we came from. It is truly amazing how far we have come in such a short time. The audience reaction was great tonight and we all fed off of it especially during Rio. It gave us enough fire to finish Baroque Samba with a lot of gusto. After we marched off the field and circled up I pointed back towards the stands and told the corps, "THAT is why we do this"! All were in agreement. To the appreciative and supportive fans in Memphis, thank you for making our premier performance a memorable one!
  19. Please change our web link to www.musiccitylegend.org Thanks!
  20. On behalf of my fellow Star of Indiana alumni I'd like to say, "thank you"!!!
