Sounds to me like a case of too much junk files on your computer and/ or possibly not enough RAM. There is a great free program out there to fix this problem. Google ccleaner and download it from piriform.com. Run it and it will thoroughly clean your computer. I cleaned off over 1.5 gig of junk off my aunts computer and afterward noticed a big jump in running programs. Also, I would go to run and type msconfig, ok. Use this configuration tool to turn off unnecessary programs that might running in the background of your computer. Make sure to restart the computer afterward. This has always sped up the performance of my computer and especially video streaming. Hope this helps and let me know.

That's ok. The flyer said Carroll High and when I went there they were not there. I could find nothing, in time, of where they were before I had to leave. Just a little perturbed that I did not get to catch a bit of rehearsal.

Where, man? I was just at Southlake Carroll high school because that's where the flier for tonight's performance said that they would be rehearsing from 9 AM to 3 PM. I drove by there at little after 1 PM and nobody was there.

So, I feel dumb. But anyone know the name of the tune Bluecoats played for their instant encore?

I would have to say '93 Cadets Closer trumps all closers ever performed on a football field!! The horn rips and the innovation of the drill put together with sheer raw power and energy was just ASTOUNDING that year! Go have a listen on the site that shall not be named! There is a vid of then doing a standstill from Houston right before finals as well as a vid of the finals encore there. It will blow you away!

Dude!!!!!! Check a video or history because Star did not have 5 snares in 91'. They did, in fact, have 7 that year that were very clean and had tasty beats on skin heads.

I have to agree with medeabrass on Houston being a nearnperfect venue for drumcorps. I have been to the Houston show and the upper and lower decks within the forties are most desirable. Once you get above row twenty, on the lower deck there is an overlap of the upper deck and a breeze way that can stay noisy with people hitting the dog stands. Although the stadium does have nice acoustic the back stands are made of concrete which makes backfield playing enhanced. Anyhow if you are interested, I have one ticket for the Thursday night show that I need to sell. It is a premium ticket in Section C, Row 15 seat 1 right on the 50 and I am asking face value of $40 for it. I am leaving this Saturday 7/3 and will be unable to mail the ticket if needed but, I know someone who could do it for me.
