  7. Marched Pride of Cincinnati that summer and toured w/ Garfield quite a bit. The great part of being the 25th place corps from the previous year... went on early and watched all of the great performances after. Saw WSS about a dozen times that year along w/ Spirit's "Porgy and Bess" and Suncoast's production of "Vietnam". AWESOME!!
  8. HW is only mini-corps this year. Vic is a snare player w/ Bridgemen and snare tech for... CORPSVETS!!
  9. Is the video quality better in WMP than the web stream?
  10. Ricky and the SP Staff ROCK! Thanks for keeping us informed throughout the season. We really appreciate ALL of your hard work. KUDOS!!! EDIT: Typo.
  11. REALLY strong weapon line... flags fairly clean. Nice ending. Loved the frisbee.
  12. :sos: I made my reservations back in January for Finals. Unfortunately, I accidentally deleted all of my information from my computer and have NO idea where I made the reservation. I've called about 20 different hotels around Camp Randall and cannot find my reservation. Of course, everyone is completely booked within 30 miles of Madison (except for Crowne Plaza... out of my budget). Does anyone wish to share their room with an aging FMM? OK, I'm only 40 but this is aging me fast and I might die if I can't find somewhere to stay!! CODE BLUE (That's the ER nurse in me)!! HELP! :sos: Naturally, I would split the cost for any kind individual willing to help an old guard member out. Please, be a hero!!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you... in advance. :D :D :D
  13. Not sure about the TV picture but I did change the resolution to the lowest setting on the PC. Then, if you download the new Beta version of IE, look at the bottom right corner of the screen and there is a dropdown menu where you can magnify the screen up to 400%. Worked pretty well for me for the Indy stream (missed last Saturday... AAARRRGGHH!). Can't wait til tomorrow!!
  14. I remember hearing how you guys were starving in 1984. We felt badly for you guys and I think we even shared a meal with you during the second tour. Pride of Cincinnati fed us fairly consistently although we were technically responsible for 1 meal a day. One of the guard members worked at a McDonalds the months before we left for tour and MickeyD's was passing out scratch off cards for a Summer Olympics promo... you'd scratch your card and certain events were listed. If the US won a medal in that event, you won free food-- Big Mac for Gold, Fries for a silver, and small Coke for bronze. Keep in mind, 1984 was the year the Soviets boycotted the LA Olympics so the US won ALOT of medals that summer and McD's lost their shirt in free food. Lucky for the us because the former McDonald's employee slash guard member swiped HUNDREDS of these scratch-offs and we ate Big Macs and fries until we were nauseated!
