  1. Voted again. That was a big move in just a couple of days. Maybe at Corps Dec. camps they would announce what Spirit of Atlanta (man that sounds good to say)is trying to do and ask them to vote. Dean
  2. This showed up on my FB. http://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.php?fbid=474723149171&set=a.55003294171.60904.6451869171 Dean
  3. voted again today. Right now they are 94th. the good news is that they are moving up. Please vote to help out one of our own in this great activity of ours. We do have a tendency to circle the wagons when one of our own needs help. I hope more Corps puts this on their fb page like Crown has done. Dean
  4. WOW, Just WOW sounds great. I seen that this was arranged by Mr. Naffier. This would be a great Drum Corps piece. If this has not been said before let me say, I just heard today's Maynard and his name is AL CHEZ. I will be buying this CD for sure. Dean
  5. . I like this layout a lot thank you. I can not find the TOP tab is it still there? Dean
  6. My name is Dean not Bill Ellis. He was the Corps Dir. when I marched. He changed my life for the better. Please look at my sig. and you will see all the Glassmen Corp's songs over the last 50 years. Madre was played on the field in 1992 at that time it was not the Corps song. The words that the Glassmen sing to Madre were written by Glassmen Alum. To say Madre is a nod to our past is a stretch at best. I would suggest the next time you call me out over Glassmen history at least know a little about our history. Dean PS they did indeed sell out of the boring tee shirt
  7. The Hill Where the Lord Hides would be a great piece even for an encore. It was arranged by Jim Ott for the Glassmen in 75 and this song was played at least 3 different times over the years. I would be very surprised if Brian would gave a nod to the past. We will see, but I am not holding my breath. Brian came to the Glassmen in 97, from that day forward there has not been a nod to the past even in encore from my understanding. Dean
  8. This being our 50th I was hoping they would give a nod to the past in some way. It does not look like that is going to happen. Dean
  9. I want to say yes. Is he a band teacher in Indiana today? Dean
