  1. Interesting, I sure it is because they didnt have a good camera angle for finals night. The effect is ruined when shot from behind and you can see her just tuck the sword under her arm. I'm actually happy to hear this. I liked the semis ending better. It seemed classier to me. ...she's going to kill herself, we get it. No need to go all Spartacus on us...
  2. You're right. The actual amount that is missing isn't that big of a deal. I thought I explained what aspect is worth being upset about... to me at least.
  3. So as long as they only delete 49% or less we should see the glass as half full and lick their boots? To be clear, we are upset because we were not informed before we purchased. We weren't even informed until the first CD show up at a door step. And the most unsavory thing is the fan network didn't change until yesterday. I would rather give them the benefit of the doubt, but it looks like willful deception. Did they just totally forget to edit the fan network? Then, at best, it just looks like incompetence.
  4. Bingo. And the fact that they didn't change the fan network until yesterday could be perceived as intentional deception.
  5. Knowing how much we complain?... That's how I'd do it. Otherwise it's just an INCREDIBLE coincident.
  6. Too funny. They didn't change the fan network till the very last minute... Keep us calm and keep those orders coming in. I feel played...
  7. I'm sure you're right. It's just odd that this wasn't a problem for APD sales. And again, it would be nice to get a heads up. And don't trivialize the importance of any part of a show to fans.
  8. Oh for freak sake! OK listen up 'powers that be' - PRESHOWS ARE IMPORTANT TO US. Them not being judged doesn't matter one little bit to us. We LOVE them. OK?
  9. Crown was probably due to time restraints on CD format. Cavies was probably because the didn't want David Bowie to sue them.
  10. It sure would be nice if DCI would specify Clearly every modification they make to shows/pre-shows BEFORE they start accepting our money on their store web page. We were only told about Madison's closer. I understand they can't do that for pre-season orders via the fan network, but there is no excuse for the store page sales...
  11. I don't think you can beat this one. A HEALTHY does of Blue Devils, Santa Clara and Pacific Crest throughout the brass, drums and color guard. Also the random sprinkling of Madison, Cadets, Troopers, Impulse, etc. And I think the entire staff marched corps as well. Heck, freaking Wayne Downey arranges their music and came down to teach several times a season...
  12. Ooo good point. The darn thing wont let me edit the thread title though. =\
  13. I see how it is. Phantom bumps their microphone so he uses Friday's show instead. But Crown's speaker explodes and that gets through?... Kidding drumcat mate. Love you man!
  14. It is a little bass heavy, but I'm sure that's because of it being in a dome with goo. That might make the treble seem a tad recessed. It may be imbalanced toward the low end, but like drumcat said it's probably accurate to how it sounded live. p.s. Drumcat, is it me or is Crown's speaker totally blown out for the preshow?
  15. The last CD recordings I heard where from 2009. There is a level of polish that the CDs have vs the APDs. Which is why I actually prefer the APDs. I do appreciate work that goes into making finals sound almost like a studio recording. You get more clarity compared to the APDs, but I personalty prefer the slightly more crass sound the APDs provide because the sound is more dynamic. The high and low volumes are too close together on the CDs for my taste.
  16. It's true. All APDs have been fine all year. I believe 'mechanical rights' are what's needed for audio products. And those rights have been granted.
