Yeah, no more "songs", the corps that won played Moon river, corps that got second "What a wonderful world", and the corps that got 3rd played one of the most popular songs of the last decade. I much prefer corps to expose me to NEW music, rather than be marching band karaoke of the same old songs. Do we REALLY need another marching band cover of "sounds of silence"? I actually think corps are playing more "current"' music than anytime since about the 70s, but it's maybe music the older folks aren't familiar with. Heck, Madison is playing some tunes made popular by tick tock.

Got a response from customer service. There was some sort of issue so they're having to use a backup of the backup. Show will start in full at 12:30 ET instead of 10, and be hi cam only, but they ASSURED me I wouldn't miss any performances, we'll see.

Not sure, but that explains why the ensemble timing is kinda loose tonight. it's all acoustic to start, then the synth samples of it come in when they go under the wheel I think, the synth player is actually playing the part if you find a video of their pit in the lot. Check out the original, it's shockingly true to it.

How else are we supposed to hear the electronics?

The mics are always in the same place at every show, but corps sometimes move their speakers forward or back depending on if there is a wall. Looks like there's a wall and cadets speakers are further back and blasting into the mics on the 35s

This show has historically little space in-between the front sideline and the stands. The mics look further back than normal to allow the drum major podiums to fit, and it looked like tons of the speakers were pointed right at the mics.

High cam working better for me than multi

High cam is back for me and more stable...fingers crossed.

I just spoke with customer service, said the high school internet is having issues and they're gonna try to switch to their back up internet, whatever that means.

The theater broadcast for Tour Premier was on Flo this year though, so who knows.

That's definitely it, he keeps leaving it on and it's feeding back into the house system.

Sounded like the announcer on the field left his mic on and the corps was going through the house speaker system...
