Dayton, Ohio, Division II/III Competition

Recommended Posts

I need to look up how Dutch Boy has been doing in Div. III because, from my standpiont, this is a very strong performance. Another drum line with attitude.

Ohh, it's How High the Moon. Nice arrangement.

Another APD I'm looking forward to.

They need to work the DM transition after Moon, a long pause because she had to get up front and replace the other DM.

Next song is Ilea's song from Star Trek: The Motionless Picture.

I'm melting from the great sound coming from the three Dutch Boy contras. Very lush and full.

Time to break out the ST:TMP soundtrack.

I think they just formed a Klingon symbol on the field. I'm such a geek.

Drum solo time now. First corps with a full bass line, too. This also sounds like something from Star Trek.

Variations on Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star?

I think that's what I'm hearing now.

Yep, most definitely. Very cute.

Yep, street beat time.

I am a happy man.

The Brownie troops were rocking out to Dutch Boy's street beat. Again, wish I had a camera.

Last corps tonight: Capital Sound. Their 2007 show is titled "Ooh La La: Le Spectaculair Francais" and consists of Gaite Parisienne by Jacques Offenbach, Orpheus in the Underworld by Jacques Offenbach, and selections from Victor/Victoria.
