Dayton, Ohio, Division II/III Competition

I don't recognize the song, but, again, a very beautiful ballad. Sounds to positive for Pink Floyd so I"m guessing it's from Oz.

Uh oh. I just heard a bicycle bell. Must be time for the tornado.

It is and it's also time for the drum solo. A pretty strong drum line and a demanding book to go with it.

Oh-ee-oh, Oooh-oh...

Nice. The guard's all carrying broomsticks. Calling Harry Potter...

No the guard is on emerald flags. The corps is back to Pink Floyd, although I don't know which song. Here comes the big finish.

I'm going to have to get this APD for the drum line.

Kevin, great job man! I like this, it's like the "man in the streets reporting." LOL remember Les Nessman at the Turkey Drop?

Keep up the great work.

Yet another street beat. This really is the spirit of drum corps, both on the field and off.

Dutch Boy up next. Can they top South Park, the Movie?

Dutch Boy's 2007 show is "2007: A Space Odyssey". The color guard is in what appear to be NASA-style jump suits.

I'm counting 19 brass, 13 percussion, 17 color guard, and 2 drum majors. Horn line has a great sound during the warm-up.

Horns and drums are on the front sideline except for three contras backfield, who appear to be playing the organ part of Also Sprach Zarathustra. I guess this had to be played with the show theme.

I really like the horn sound!

The corps formed a rocket on the field with the guard flags as the flames. Cute.

Another strong drum line, too.

I know this next piece, but can't place it...

Moon formation on the field now.
