We marched together in 97-99, and he lives in Colorado springs now, so when he goes to DATR I am his touchstone person. He texts me the play by play, to feel connected with someone who loves the activity, and I get to live vicariously. :) whom did he like so far ? Ask him whom was hot !!!! ? wesleyrp Posted July 29, 2007 Share Posted July 29, 2007 wow / a lot of cadet hate around here - seems like everyone is rooting against them :(I tend to root FOR corps - not against them - but hey / I guess that's just me Dude just because I say I want the Bluecoats to win tonight doesn't mean I am "hating" the Cadets. I think the Cadets have a ton of talent but I personally want to see new blood in the top 3. Don't forget that for the longest time, the top 6 was made up of the same corps. I was part of a team that was labeled " a corps who may never be a top 6 corps" by Dennis Delucia back in '98. Point being I watched my teammates top that in '00 and I like to root for the underdog. To me, the Bluecoats are still the underdog to break into the top 3 and I want to see that barrier surpassed. Last time I checked, that was rooting for a corps. Crossmen good opening but enh after. SCV: "If they clean up they'll move up a few places."
