3rd_Star_Brigade
Fans & Directors- The Imperial Sound Bus Fleet has recently been involved in a tragic crash. Our equipment bus has crashed and basically all the equipment on board has been damaged or destroyed. Most of the brass has been saved, but the uniforms and percussion equipment suffered a severe loss. What we are asking is that you make a donation to the corps in it's hour of need. Also, if you are a corps director, we really need your help with finding equipment to use for shows. Unfortunately, due to the accident, we will be unable to fulfill certain things in show and practice. As a result, our scores should be low, until we reach California, where we have made requests to resupply our damages. That will be on August 6th, so until the 6th, expect low scores, unfortunately. Thanks for understanding. Edited July 30, 2007 by 3rd_Star_Brigade
Skylinersop16
The Conquistadors purchased a new set of Yamaha battery percussion this season and we still have our complete set of black Pearl drums on our truck. You are more than welcome to them the next time we meet up!

Toby
The WYAA has plenty of extra horns available for Imp. Sound to use. They may not be the ones you are used to, but they have only been used for auditions. We are currently lining up a semi to haul them from corps HQ to meet you guys at your next show. We also have our old sets of uniforms from the Swingers and Lakers last season if you need them. I think SPS fits your color scheme a bit more (though, use of the fedora is optional). ;) Let us know if there is anything else you require. 3rd_Star_Brigade
Thank you all very much. The corps has gone one ahead, except for a few staff. We'll be flying to Arizona. Depending on whether the bus driver wants to go home or not, I'll be filling in as the new equipment bus driver. Thank you all again. Skylinersop16
Gibberish - a generic term in English for talking that sounds like speech, but has no actual meaning (such as "florb grink mave's rint ist slanpehed ooku uthep yongrish"). This meaning has also been extended to meaningless text or gobbledygook, such as "yrudnvncdkeggjsuwigdllvmbk glocktenspoildehmehktenshe, plobbottem". The common theme in gibberish statements is a lack of literal sense, which can also be described as a presence of nonsense.A family of language games in English are sometimes referred to as "Gibberish".
