Portland, OR Show 8/2

Was this show announced when the whole tour was released? Back in November or January or whenever it was? Was there any delay or weirdness in the announcement? A change in venue, anything?

I live in Atlanta. If I lived in the Pac NW, I think I would have figured it out, but I just noticed the show about 3 hours after it was over. My whole father's side of the family is out there. I probably would have sent at least three of them to the show. I might have come out myself and toured down to finals.

I'm questioning my sanity about now. How did I miss that? I can think of a variety of reasons, but wondering if it was a late addition or something.

I guess I also want to hear that it was a total sellout, such that you didn't need more people out there.

im sayin it now...like last year SCV is moving on up ....i predict they will beat the bluecoats on saturday night and eventually beat crown and phantom on quarters to put them in 4th place....they have the momentum with thier show being so freakin amazing and the fact they are going home to their home state....which im sure helps in the minds of the performers!!!!!!!!

Yeah, it was posted back in November, I remember my Cadets friends that live here in Portland were pretty excited about it. The only thing not posted was the show site. I think we all assumed it would be Hillsboro Stadium, since its the only thing large enough up here (besides Univ of Oregon or OSU). The show itself was fun, there were SO many people there! It was more like a big reunion, everyone pretty much knew everyone. All the corps performed very well, I was impressed with everyone last night.

I didn't take many show pictures, I was too busy talking to people. The few I did take can be found here:
