Lancerman07
Typically I'm pretty good at finding stuff on the web. I'd be interested where exactly on DCI.org that is. Sure seems to be something that is lacking on that site is a nuts and bolts, here's how we score, here's how we rank, etc. If the rest of that is there, then they should make it easier to find. Thanks, Jeff http://www.dci.org/schedule/detail.cfm?eve...c4-8f6659d07536 Then click on the "Corps Lineup" tab. Somebody in that thread stated that if a corps performed in both the afternoon and night shows on the same day, then their highest score would be used. Not sure if that was ever verified. And DCI has not said how it will deal with those who were not at all regionals (Academy, Mandarins, and Pacific Crest).
Tusayan
BTW, doesn't the defending champ still go last? Not since 1988.

Lancerman07
Here is the order of the corps that we know for sure for quarters: 1 Pioneer 2 Troopers 3 Southwind 4 Cascades 5 Madison Scouts 6 Crossmen 7 Spirit from JSU 8 Blue Stars 9 Glassmen 10 Colts 11 Blue Knights 12 Boston Crusaders 13 Santa Clara Vanguard 14 Carolina Crown 15 Phantom Regiment 16 Bluecoats 17 The Cavaliers 18 The Cadets 19 Blue Devils Now for some scenarios.... If DCI chooses to put scores from the same or close date for those who weren't at regionals: Academy - After Crossmen Pacific Crest - After Cascades Mandarins - After Troopers If DCI counts missed regionals as zeros into the average: Mandarins - First The Academy - Second Pacific Crest - Third If DCI only considers the regionals that those corps were at: The Academy - After Colts Pacific Crest - After Madison Scouts Mandarins - After Cascades
RsD
If they ONLY look at regional scores, and ignore missed regionals, where is the incentive to go to early season regionals? If I were a tour director, I'd just hit the last two. To me, they either have to use scores from the same date (or the day before) or use zeros. (Shouldn't that be spelled zeroes? Firefox doesn't think so.)
Zeke
1 Pioneer 2. Mandarins 3.Southwind 4.PC 5 Cascades 6 Madison Scouts 7.Crossmen 8.Spirit from JSU 9.Blue Stars 10Academy I think it will be something along these lines for 10 on down for Quarters Edited August 5, 2007 by Zeke
RsD
MLB, baseball's Major League, has clearly defined and published rules for who gets into the postseason, and in what ranking order. The NHL, hockey's Major League, has clearly defined and published rules for who gets into the postseason, and in what ranking order. The NFL, football's Major League, has clearly defined and published rules for who gets into the postseason, and in what ranking order. The NBA, basketball's Major League, has clearly defined and published rules for who gets into the postseason, and in what ranking order. Not that I'm suggesting anything.
