Memphis must have been very good. I can hardly wait for the DVD's already. I didnt get a chance to see some of the D/3 corps and am really looking forward to it. Agreed, another Corps that I've always found entertaining and crowd pleasing, but under appreciated. Nice to see some of those "crowd favorites" getting some attention from the judges. They did nothing but improve with every performance. " Dropped" to Div. III, ha! They offered positions to the most dedicated and talented performers and made it WORK. oldguard Posted August 23, 2007 Share Posted August 23, 2007 Congratulations and thank you, Memphis Sound! Well done! I loved the music. Wonderful ballad. Nice guard. Tight percussion. One of best and most musical front ensembles I heard all season. The drill was well written to maximize your sound and yet it was interesting enough to keep the audience engaged. Good marching skills. Everything I look for in a drum corps show. And you never let up. You hit the ground running and left it on the field. Excellent final performance. Memphis Sound has always been a very successful corps in my eyes. It is good to see some recognition for their efforts. And I am expecting even greater things in the future to come from this corps.
