kevingamin
Boston Senior is another corps which gets better each year I see them. Hornline is really showing their stuff today.
kevingamin
Drums have another solo. Plenty of rudiments for everybody today. Hornline has moved behind the drums. I think we're setting up for a big push.
kevingamin
California Dreamin', on such a drum corps day. Except Renegades aren't on until tonight. :P
kevingamin
Here comes the REAL Conquest.
Jeff DeMello
From Mav: "Are they wearing "7's" on their back?" With the tape on the snare harnesses, and the sash on their back, the snare line looks like they have "7's" on their back! And the weird thing is, that you didn't notice it until they started playing "California Dreamin'" !!!
kevingamin
OK, right after the Conquest grunts, the drumline just went into a swing groove and the drum major soloed on a soprano. Ahh, Conquest is back with a company front.
Jeff DeMello
Waiting to come on the field ... Bridgemen Alumni!!!
Jeff DeMello
Side story: The first time I saw the Bridgemen was in '76 at CYO (or was it World Open ... it was a while ago!). We (BD) were pulling into the parking lot and saw Bridgemen in their "banana" uniforms for the first time, and we actually thought we might loose ... they were very intimidating!
