Good hornline sound to end Tabu. Here comes the drumline. Snares, single tenors, basses, and cymbals.

Major stick visual action in the snares!

Ahh, there is also one multi-tenor.

Moonlight Serenade now. Appropriate in Rochester as Empire Statesmen used to start their show off with this piece (83-90).

Still more stick visuals from the snares during the next song. These guys like to be flashy. No complaints here.

Mellos are ripping some notes off now. We're in the Big Band Concert section of the show, by the way, and have moved into Caravan with a soprano solo.

Honor guard is moving now. Color presentation is the next piece.

Color guard is literally pumping their flags up and down to the beat of Caravan.

A rousing version of Caravan brings back personal memories for me. We played it in BD in '73, our first year touring!

I was wondering what a Canadian corps would play for a color presentation. Battle Cry For Freedom and Ontario fits perfectly.

Honor guard is now up front. I do believe the tip of the Canadian flag pole has a maple leaf.

Time for "Color-Pre", or for those of you young people "Color Presentation".

Color Pre used to be a mandatory part of a drum corps show where the corps proudly marched the American Flag (or in this case both the American and Canadian flag) up the fifty yard line in honor of their respective nation, a tradition dating from the military heritage of drum corps.
