CrunchyTenor
The company I work for has a Big Rig dealership in Vegas so I am there about once every other month.I have learned not to bring any money to gamble. I dont even hit the strip. As a matter of fact, away from the strip and downtown, I love the place. Make that reason # 33564. Dream doesn't have July rehearsals in Vegas. Didn't VK go watch a movie there one year? Locals don't hit The Strip often, either. VK did the movie gig in Phoenix in 1990. That was the day it hit 126 degrees. They also closed the airport for a few hours because, A) the tarmac was melting, and 2) they weren't sure there was enough density in the air to attempt takeoffs, just in case they needed runway space for aborted attempts. Academy had July rehearsals in Tempe, and it's hotter there than Vegas. Didn;t seem to hurt them. DrPennybags
VK '95 went to Arizona in the summer.Of course the air conditioner on the bus "broke". It was the first trip out of town on the bus so nobody was sure if it worked prior to leaving. That really was a hint of how the rest of our tour was going to be.
