We had some old school , mini corp, Hip Pickles & Al Chez. All went well & ended close to 10pm with Park City Pride showing the concept of the United Corps B.U. would like to grow into. We thank all in attendance. All performers donated time to this event. This is the only way we could afford to host this show @ Kingsborough Community College. We will do it again next year. So if you would like to donate your time next October PLEASE email me. Seeking a headliner to close 08 show. B.U. is looking to fill out all sections. Fill out a membership application on the B.U. site. CD's of show will be available shortly as a fundraiser for $30. Check the web next month for details. Leave some ideas & feeback here. All girl GrenaDears hit us with Luck Be A Lady. Melrose, Archer, Toppers & Selden all showed us some old school D&B. We inducted Bucky Swan, Tommy Martin, Andy DiOrio , Moe Knox & Wes Myers into BKLYN Hall of Fame. Brooklyn United performed some new swing tunes from Buckys vault. The Romeos kicked off second half with Santa sitting in. Hip Pickles put on a hell of a drum show. Golden Eagles mini corps showed us why they rank in the tops of mini corps. Lambertville & the screech man played some pretty tunes. Brassmen actually had a marching color pres & a real entertaining show. Park City Pride ended with a bang & showed what a true united corps is like. I thank them all. Especially one with parking for all including buses. We pay a pretty fee for this location. It"s really a beautiful location. State of the art facility. Great college staff. Plenty of places to warm-up around campus. Locker room. Thats why we need you to donate your time to this show. I would like to plug this show again early with masssive PR. Let me know if you will be returning or if I need to fill your slot. I will advertise in DCW, Heritage, G.A.S. & Brass Reunion programs so on........ If you have any ideas to help me build this show into a bigger & better one than last year reply or email me. Won't be easy! Thanks for donating your time.
