I'm not sure about who the first corpswas to use carriers for snares but I think it was SCV ? Wasn't the XL carrier designed by Fort Wayne Percussion? I think Slingerland bought it later? I guess I need to put in my 1979 DVD to check! 1979 Guardsmen...not the cleanest drumline, but a great book & very innovative. Grounded timpani, XL snare carriers, 6 Slingerland cutaway quads.
