Streamers

Recommended Posts

I'm wondering what exactly people use for those streamers that they sometimes throw at finals during the finale of a show. If you don't know what I'm talking about, check out the videos of Garfield '84, Phantom '93 and Phantom '07. I'm thinking about getting some to use at the end of Carolina Crown's finals performance this year. Thanks in advance.

It's mostly a tradition with PR. Phantom supporters usually supply streamers to their fans and people in the immediate seating area. They're usually crepe paper.

Ahhh...thanks, I wasn't sure if it was a Phantom-only thing. In that case I'll use them for Phantom's show.

Best streamer moment ever - Cavaliers 04 on High Cam

Isn't it just the normal stuff you buy at party stores?

Unless it was '82 when the rebels 'bought it' from the Roman legions.

Yes. I think it started with Phantom's '82 Spartacus show

I thought it started with the 1812 when the whole corps threw up toilet paper. And I think what people are throwing is still tp, but I could be wrong.

Hey guys ...

I've never seen this streamer phenomenon at a show. Are they plastic? If so, sounds like a potential choking hazard for a bird, small child or a turtle.
