TerriTroop
I can't say much because I was sitting at home watching, but Phantom seemed a tad off last night. Just not firing on all cylinders. It certainly was not a bad performance just not their best. I was on the 48 yardline, top tier - pretty great seats! Everyone around me was awed by Phantom. They seemed to have cleaned a lot in terms of drill (form to form is tightening up nicely, GREAT feet!), and the emotional projection was fantastic. Musically I couldn't get a good read on the drumline (echo echo echo.... ugh), except when they were in front of the front hashes. They sounded mostly clean when they were up there. Great dynamic control! In general, this show felt on fire to me and those around me. It's really interesting to hear the difference in perspective from those viewing on FN and those in the stands. Makes me wonder what it's like in the Alamodome press box.
