deltaray Posted August 10, 2008 Share Posted August 10, 2008 I love pitch bending in general and the Cavaliers subjected me to about 30 seconds of heaven. It was great. Thank you. My question is, were they pitch bending through their slide or through their embouchure? Jared_mello Posted August 10, 2008 Share Posted August 10, 2008 probably embrochure. plenty of corps do it during their brass warmups. it's really not that hard at all, to be honest. phantom seems to be the corps that's most well known for doing it in the lot. it was a cool effect in the cavies show this year though, i suppose. I mean, we did that every day during warm-ups when I marched in 2000... just used it to try to get our pitch centered better... Guess it was just me...
