I noticed a lot of asterik-like formations(*)..........maybe with 6 points or 8 or 10. I swear at least 9-10 corps in the Quarter finals used them. The asterisks thing came up in an earlier thread such as the live from San Antonio or Atlanta one, and people were counting asterisks, as I remember. My take is that every year, a bunch of designers for different corps just happen to coincidentally get the same design element idea, and this year, it was asterisks.
