corpssaavy
WOW is right What a great move, both for Tom and the Blue Stars. Those UMASS connections are pretty strong!
Galen
GREAT pick-up for Blue Stars! I think the drumline was their biggest issue this season (and I use that term VERY loosely based on how successful they were). Look out top 6? BlueR36
Off topic a bit ... sorry ... but did anyone else notice at the end of that press release that the Blue Stars are having Color Guard auditions in Los Angeles, Calif.?? Have they done that before? I know a lot of other corps have held auditions in Texas and Florida to expand their talent pools, but has anyone had one in California except for BD, SCV and the other California corps?? Oh, and adding Aungst is a good move, obviously. But it begs the question -- if all these guys are from the Boston area, why don't they work for the Boston Crusaders?? Red3
That's an exciting move for the Blue Stars. How much do you think he'll actually be involved? I'm willing to guess he won't go on the road.

Have they done that before? I know a lot of other corps have held auditions in Texas and Florida to expand their talent pools, but has anyone had one in California except for BD, SCV and the other California corps?? I believe that is because Michael Shapiro lives in Los Angeles, and his WGI Guards (Corona, Corona Light, etc) are located there. Oh, and adding Aungst is a good move, obviously. But it begs the question -- if all these guys are from the Boston area, why don't they work for the Boston Crusaders?? Because Boston is not from Boston, they are from Orlando
